Are we finally getting weird again?

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

I'm starting to be every so slightly optimistic about the state of blockbuster art. What a thing!

Jamie's been playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. As I understand it, everyone has been playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I'm not going to play it (turn based combat is not for me) but I've been enjoying watching Jamie play and delighted to know that everyone's playing it, because god, what a weird game!

A bunch of French weebs made a game that bleeds with all the weird shit you know they all must have played; it's a Final Fantasy game made by people who have played too much Dark Souls and maybe have a romantic attachment to No Face from Spirited Away.
