I'm not hard to please as a voter

A sign reading "polling station" is taped to a black, wrought iron gate, with trees behind it

I'm really not that hard to please as a voter.

All I want is political leaders who believe in things.

All I want is a government who wants to make things better.

I'm not that hard to please.

All I want is a party who won't throw immigrants and trans people under the bus in a frankly embarrassing attempt to court the vote of the racist far right.

All I want is a prime minister who isn't in thrall to tech billionaires.

All I want is a political class who spend more time engaging with ordinary people than they do talking to the ultra wealthy.

I'm not hard to please.

All I want are leaders who remember that the point of democracy is to remove power from the elite and give it instead to the masses.

All I want is for the word of experts to be given more weight than that of lobbyists.

It's honestly not that complicated.

All I want is consequences for corruption.

All I want is a sense of collective responsibility.

It's not that hard, it's not that hard, it's really not that hard.

All I want is for a government who accepts that a country needs investment in its people and its infrastructure.

All I want is recognition that not every sector should be run for profit.

All I want is for someone somewhere to remember that the economy is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.

I'm truly not that hard to please as a voter.

If anyone out there is looking for a voter to please.
